The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic State Sales Manager to lead our NSW/ACT sales operations. This is a pivotal role focused on driving growth, enhancing customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team.
You’ll be joining a business that exclusively serves a B2B client base across the east coast of Australia, importing and distributing a wide range of ceramic tile products. This role offers the chance to make a real impact and shape the future of our sales strategy in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with national business goals.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a small sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments across NSW and ACT.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
Market Insight: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Reporting & Analysis: Deliver clear and insightful sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership.

About You
Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, account management, or business development. Experience in retail or wholesale environments is highly regarded.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams or projects. You inspire others and take initiative, even if you haven’t managed a large team yet.
Communication: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Commercial Acumen: Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market data and make sound business decisions.
Relationship Builder: Skilled at developing client relationships and delivering value-driven solutions.
